Legal Manager

The Legal Manager will be responsible for managing legal risk, supporting regulatory compliance, and providing legal guidance across Lilamani Group’s real estate operations. The role involves working closely with senior management, sales, finance, internal teams, and external legal advisors on contracts, property documentation, due diligence, regulatory matters, and legal risk management.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognised institution
  • Relevant experience in real estate, property, or land-related legal matters
  • Strong understanding of real estate laws, land and revenue laws, contracts, and regulatory requirements
  • Working knowledge of RERA regulations, title documentation, and legal due diligence
  • Strong legal drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with external legal counsel, government authorities, and other agencies
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain organised legal records and documentation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Law (LL.M.) or other relevant postgraduate qualification
  • Prior experience with a real estate developer or in a law firm handling real estate matters
  • Experience with land acquisition, title verification, property transactions, and project-related legal documentation

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, NDAs, MoUs, and other legal documents
  • Review and support property-related documentation, including agreements, land titles, and transaction documents
  • Coordinate legal due diligence and title verification for real estate transactions and projects
  • Support RERA-related documentation, filings, and compliance requirements
  • Advise internal teams on legal and regulatory matters affecting ongoing projects and business operations
  • Identify potential legal risks and recommend appropriate actions or escalate matters where required
  • Coordinate with external legal counsel and monitor timely completion of legal assignments and deliverables
  • Liaise with relevant authorities, consultants, and agencies on legal and property-related matters
  • Maintain an organised repository of contracts, legal records, case documents, and compliance trackers
  • Support senior management in litigation, disputes, notices, and other legal matters as required
