The Junior Engineer will support the execution and supervision of construction activities across Lilamani Group’s real estate projects. The role involves site coordination, quality checks, measurement and documentation, contractor supervision, and ensuring that work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, timelines, and safety requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in construction or real estate projects
- Basic understanding of civil construction methods, materials, drawings, and site execution
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings
- Basic knowledge of quantity measurements, billing, and site documentation
- Working knowledge of MS Office / Google Workspace
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to work on-site
- Good coordination and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with a real estate developer, contractor, or construction consultancy
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and basic project management tools
- Exposure to residential or commercial building projects
- Understanding of quality control, safety practices, and construction sequencing
Responsibilities
- Assist in supervising day-to-day construction activities at site
- Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, vendors, and internal project teams
- Monitor progress of assigned works and report delays, issues, or deviations to senior engineers
- Check dimensions, levels, quantities, and workmanship at site
- Assist in measurement and verification of contractor and vendor work
- Maintain site records, progress reports, checklists, and other project documentation
- Support material planning, receipt, inspection, and utilisation at site
- Assist in quality inspections and ensure corrective actions are implemented where required
- Monitor compliance with site safety requirements and established construction practices
- Support snagging, finishing, testing, and handover activities
- Report site observations, technical issues, and coordination requirements to the Project Engineer or Project Manager
